Managed Services Engineer – L2

Role Summary
Support Galaxy's managed services customers with L2 escalation support, proactive monitoring, and incident resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle L2 escalations from the NOC for network and infrastructure incidents
- Monitor customer environments using RMM and SIEM tools
- Perform root cause analysis and document resolution steps
- Coordinate with OEM vendors for hardware replacements and firmware updates
- Participate in change management and scheduled maintenance windows
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years in a managed services or NOC environment
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem)
- Hands-on experience with network devices (Cisco, HPE Aruba) and Windows Server
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Freshdesk, or similar)
Preferred Background
- CCNA or equivalent network certification
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
